Ian Smith Carpentry & Joinery
Ian has completed a handful of projects for us in the past few years, all of which we have been thoroughly pleased with. These jobs have included completely re building bedroom cupboards, improving an existing cabin bed and hanging doors and fitting handles amongst other things. His work is always to a high standard and he is is a pleasure to have around. Always clean and tidy, friendly and his work is priced competitively.
Just wanted to write and say Thank you for the works you have carried out designing constructing and fixing our beautiful solid oak fireplace. It has received many complimentary comments from friends. Also the other works carried out previously, the loft hatch and the two sets of floor to ceiling bespoke oak fitted wardrobes. Ian Smith has carried out a number of carpentry jobs for us over the last 10 years. These range from hanging doors and laying laminate flooring, to building bookcases (see attached photos). Ian has undertaken work at our property since 2006. Being a converted barn, there is often maintenance required to external and internal timber, sometimes requiring the cutting out of rotting timber, particularly outside, and splicing in of new replacement pieces.
